We started planning a little more than a month in advanced. I knew upfront that I wanted to be able to host a large mixture of my family, friends, and church family. I also knew that I wanted simple elegance... I think I achieved my goal!

We sort of went basic with the sheet cake!

We had graduation cap candies, crackers with a
cheese ball, cake balls, and diploma sandwiches.
We also had a veggie tray, sandwich spirals,
and graduation cap sandwiches.
This is what the table arrangement looked like before
things got started. Our centerpieces were balloons
tied to a diploma (made by my ever crafty uncle)
on top of a mirror. They looked fantastic! I wish

I had an absolutely lovely time! Thanks to my uncle and my mother for helping with the planning and thanks to my Dad for being our food slave!

ReplyDeleteFood is the most important thing in a party so the menu and the food vendors should be chosen carefully. I had celebrated my 30th birthday in the last month and it was super enjoyable. The Mexican food was served to the guests. The party held at the local event space NYC and they provided really affordable package including food as well as custom décor.
